Local Fiji Sevens clubs dominated the pool stages today at the Central Coast 7s in Australia.

The Red Rock side has made a strong come back after losing their first pool match to Wellington 15-7 this afternoon.

They defeated Stars Rugby 45-12 in their second match.

The Yamacia side has won their first match of Pool C by defeating Brazil 26-10 while Daveta came back with an impressive performance to beat Tribe 7s 20-14.

Daveta has continued their consistency by also defeating New Zealand based club The College Rifles 31-5.

Yamacia also beat Sunnybank 29-17 in a close encounter this afternoon.

Red Rock’s last match will be against the New Zealand Base Te Wahanau side at 6.00pm while Daveta will also play Manly 7s in its last pool match at 6.40pm.

Yamacia’s last pool match is against Tiger Rugby at 6.40pm and Nabua will play Rangataua at 7.00pm.

Looking at the Women’s Competition, the Telecom Fijiana side remains undefeated after they won their first pool match hammering the Japanese based club Rugirl 48-0.

They also thumped the Maroubarouba Magics 45-5.

The Telecom Fijiana will meet Central Coast Academy in their last pool match at 5.20pm.

The quarterfinals will begin tomorrow at 10.10am.
