The Digicel Fiji 7's team have a tough road ahead in trying to end their 10 year losing streak in the Hong Kong 7's as they will take on England in the 1/4 final.

After a 12 all draw against Samoa in their last pool game, they have finished as the 7th best team in the top 8 for the 1/4 finals.

Although Samoa played with 6 men with 2 minutes of play left, the Fiji team could not utilise possesion as they knocked the ball through Apisai Nayabo with the try-line in front of him.

Manager Jope Tuivanuavou said Coach Iliesa Tanivula said the experience in the Samoa team forced Fiji not to score.
