Fiji 7s Team Asks For Support
Speaking to our sister station Viti FM before the team departed Nadi Airport, the Nagado villager said the boys know the grudge held against them by the rugby public, on their demise at the World Cup in Dubai, and will give it their best shot this time around.
Goneva adds the boys have forgiven those who have verbally abused them, and the least they can ask for is for the people of Fiji to pray for the team.
Digicel Fiji 7s coach Iliesa Tanivula said that preparation has been good and the boys are looking forward to the task ahead of them.
Meanwhile, "Man Mountain" Semisi Naevo was at the airport to farewell the boys and has asked for the continued support for the team.
