The Fiji 5-a-side soccer team is hoping for a good start on the opening day of the Vodafone OFC Futsal Championship today.
Team Coach Intiaz Khan said their chances of representing Fiji at this year's Futsal World Cup in Brazil, will depend on their opening match against New Caledonia tonight.
Khan said although the final phase of the preparation was not that good, he's confident his players can do the best for their country.
Fiji will play New Caledonia in their opening match today at 8pm at the Vodafone Arena.
The first match in the Vodafone OFC Futsal championship will start at 5pm with Solomons playing against New Zealand and then at 6:30pm Vanuatu will take on Tuvalu.
