There were a few upsets in day one of the Tuckers Ice Cream Secondary School basketball championship yesterday.
Defending Under 15 boys champions LDS lost to Marist Brothers High School 15-12 while Under 15 girls title holders Saint Joseph Secondary lost to LDS 10-4.
Looking at the Under 17 boys grade, Marist, Yat Sen and LDS all recorded impressive wins and in the girls division LDS, Jai Narayan College, Saint Joseph and Suva Grammar school look good.
Defending Under 19 boys champs Marist Brothers and girls winners ACS both recorded impressive wins.
The competition continues today at the Vodafone Arena and FMF Gymnasium.
