The Fiji Bus Operators Association said only a few bus companies are operating today.
Association General Secretary Rohit Latchan said these buses are providing services between the Suva-Nausori corridor.
Earlier this morning he said buses will not operate until the roads and debris are cleared in the aftermath of Tropical Cyclone Mick last night.
He said passenger safety is paramount to them.
