The case filed by Suspended Chief Justice, Daniel Fatiaki against the Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama, was called in the Suva High Court this morning.

Fatiaki's lawyer, Jon Apted highlighted that they have served all the necessary documents and the defendants be given only 21 days to respond.

He said it is a matter of national importance and they have had sufficient time to study the documents. However, due to the fact that there are 14 defendants in the case, Justice Davendra Pathik has given the respondents 28 days and Apted 14 days thereafter to file relevant replies.

The case has been adjourned to November 20th.
