As many people will be celebrating Father's Day this Sunday, the Shri Sanatan Dharam believes a father plays a very important role in molding his children to become good citizens.
General Secretary Vijendra Prakash said nowadays many fathers are not that strict and understanding and as a result their children start smoking, drinking alcohol, taking marijuana and committing serious crimes.
Prakash added it’s a concern that some fathers themselves commit serious offences and crimes like indecent assault and rape.
Prakash also believes there should not be any orphanages and Old People's Homes in the society and as children grow up, they should look after their parents in old age.
