A father’s dream to make his son a rugby player may have shattered but his hopes to see his son achieve something in other sports are still alive.
A former army officer and a former rugby player, Alipate Rabitu said he wanted his son to also play rugby for his country.
His dreams shattered the day his 16 year old son Timoci Rabitu was diagnosed with a heart condition earlier last month.
However, the father of 3 has not lost any hopes and will involve his son in other sports.
Timoci Rabitu who turns 17 in two weeks was among the 50 patients who had surgeries done by a team of doctors and nurses visiting Fiji from the Sydney Adventist Hospital.
