A charity organisation in Lami looking after elderly people has had an overflow of support for Father's Day and as a result have had to turn down many offers for assistance for this Sunday.
One of the sisters at the Home, Sr Veronica Mulu said they have had to cancel their planned program for Sunday but are so happy as their residents are always happy to see new faces.
Father Law Home, looks after 26 elderly people, 15 of whom are elderly fathers.
Meanwhile, the residents are being hosted to lunch by the Fiji Council of Social Services today.
Father's Day is this Sunday.
