Labasa Police are expected to question a father today who allegedly assaulted his daughter's boyfriend last night.
The incident happened in Waiqele, Labasa last night when the 23 year old boyfriend went to meet his 16 year old girlfriend.
The father caught the two and allegedly tied the boyfriend with ropes after which he assaulted him.
The boyfriend received facial injuries and has been taken to Labasa hospital for treatment and examination.
