A father of two of Ba was sentenced to 15 years and two months after he was convicted of 5 counts of indecent assault and rape involving two young girls under the age of 7.
Lautoka High Court Judge Sudharshana De Silva while sentencing the man said the aggravating factors are the associated trauma such a crime has on young children, now and also later in their lives.
Judge De Silva said the man who's wife is related to the two victims showed no remorse for his conduct.
He will not be eligible for parole until he serves a 13 year sentence.
