A 59 year old father of Nausori is expected to appear in the Nausori Court today who allegedly stabbed his 25yr old son during a drinking party.
Police Spokesperson Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed that the 59 year old has been charged with act with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and is expected to be produced in court today.
The incident happened around 3 yesterday morning at New town settlement in Lokia along Koronivia Road when it is alleged that an argument developed between the father and son following which the suspect stabbed his son in the chest with a kitchen knife.
The victim is still admitted at CWM hospital.
