Police have just found the black taxi registration LT 3253 in Tunalia, Nadi however the 46 year old driver and his 11 year old daughter are still missing.
Spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the vehicle was found parked near a river in Tunalia in the last hour.
More than 48 hours have passed however there is still no sign of a 46-year-old man and his daughter who have been missing since Sunday.
A distraught wife and mother, Angie Deo said they are still looking for 46 year old Francis Shalendra Deo and 11 year old Samantha Deo in Nadi.
Deo said her husband was a taxi driver for 10 years.
The father and daughter left their 4 miles home on Sunday at around 4pm to drop off a family friend at the Nadi International Airport and were supposed to camp at a relative's place in Tunalia Nadi on that night.
However Deo said the two did not make it.
