A father is in police custody after allegedly killing his 14 month old daughter.
Police Spokesperson Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri told Fijivillage News, that A 32 year old farmer is in Nabouwalu Police Custody after he allegedly murdered his own 14 month old baby girl.
Sokomuri said the mother, a 29 year old school teacher, was breastfeeding the baby at 3.30 in morning, when the baby's father allegedly assaulted the baby saying that she was possessed by an evil spirit.
He allegedly assaulted the baby till her last breath.
Police are currently questioning the suspect.
