A 30 year old father of 5, Jekesoni Yavala Junior, appeared before Magistrate Anare Tuilevuka this morning charged with 1 count of murdering his wife last Sunday at Tunuloa, Cakaudrove, after a domestic dispute.

No plea was taken and the accused asked Magistrate Tuilevuka to grant him bail and not to remand him in custody since he needs to look after his 5 children.

Magistrate Tuilevuka has adjourned the case to 2.30pm where he will make a decision on his request.
