Police are expected to lay charges on a 40 year old father from Labasa for allegedly raping his 14 year old daughter in December last year.
The father is currently residing in Nadi and a team of Police Officers have been sent to take him into custody.
Crime Officers at Labasa Police station confirm the father allegedly raped his daughter on two occasions in December and later he left for Nadi after his wife and other family members came to know about the matter.
Before going to Nadi the father allegedly threatened his daughter and wife not to report the matter to Police.
The matter came to light when the daughter and wife finally decided to report the matter to Police.
The father is expected to be charged tomorrow.
