Everyone has a passion for design and fashion and only needs a push.
These are the sentiments of Australian designer and creative director Carole McCLeod who is in the country for a 5 day workshop with teachers and the public, and said that everyone has a passion for creativity and only needs an outlet and training.
McLeod will be working with 50 teachers from around the country who are part of the Fashion Design Curriculum pilot program for 2010.
McLeod said that though there is basic training in place as part of the curriculum taught in schools, more needs to be done to nurture creativity.
