The Ba soccer team has removed Farouk Janeman from the coach's position.

Fijivillage Sports has established that Janeman was removed from his position during the pool matches of the Courts IDC.

The Ba soccer Association will hold a meeting tomorrow where the team’s performance during the tournament will be top the agenda and a new coach may also be appointed.

It is understood striker Josaia Bukalidi will act as interim coach.

Meanwhile, stylish mid-fielder, Petero Dauniseka will be out of action for sometime next year as he broke his leg during the match against Lautoka.

Dauniseka was tackled by Lautoka defender, Samuela Kautoga who was shown a red card for a dangerous tackle.

The Men in Black did not perform up to expectation during the pool matches of the Courts IDC as the team lost to Rewa and Lautoka, drew against Suva and only managed to win against Nasinu.

President, Rishi Kumar said the Ba squad had a number of young players and their main objective was to expose them in such big tournaments.
