Police are questioning two farmers of Navosa after uprooting more than 550 marijuana plants from their farms yesterday.

The two farmers were under surveillance for some time on suspicion of cultivating and supplying marijuana.

A team of officers from Navosa raided the farms and uprooted 80 and 470 plants believed to be marijuana from two separate nurseries and police believe the owners were about to sell the marijuana plants to buyers.

The size of the plants ranges from one to ten centimeters.

The plants have been sent to the Koronivia Research Station for analysis.
