Nadi Police are hunting for six men who stormed into a farmer's house in Qeleloa, Nadi early yesterday morning and walked away with more than $32,000 worth of cash and assorted items.

Assistant Police Spokesperson Corporal Suliano Tevita confirmed the six masked men forced their way in the house, threatened the family members with cane knives and beer bottles and fled in the farmers white Toyota Hilux registration FL 933.

The robbers managed to take cash in Fijian and New Zealand currency with a laptop, mobile phones, assorted jewelry, a digital camera and electrical tools.

Police are yet to locate the owners Toyota Hilux which was used as the getaway vehicle and they are advising members of the public to be vigilant as this can be used in some other planned robberies. The Toyota Hilux registration again is FL 933.
