Nausori police are still questioning a 32 year old farmer who is alleged to have stabbed a woman inside her shop in Muaniweni yesterday.
Divisional Crime Officer Eastern, ASP Arthur White has confirmed that the victim was alone in the shop when the suspect allegedly entered and stabbed her.
The suspect than allegedly fled with $500 cash and some other items.
The woman was discovered lying in a pool of blood by another woman.
She is in critical condition at the Suva Private hospital.
