A Muaniweni farmer was electrocuted earlier this week while connecting a power line from a generator to a freezer.
Regional Crime Officer Eastern, ASP Arthur White said the surface of the connection was wet which caused the electrocution.
The man was rushed to Nausori Health center however he was pronounced dead on arrival.
In another incident, a 40 year old man of Vakabalaya, Navua was electrocuted yesterday morning.
The man was cutting grass near a FEA pole when he accidently touched a live wire which was hanging from the pole.
He died instantly.
