A Sigatoka farmer has been charged for allegedly cultivating $1.09 million worth of marijuana.
Police have confirmed that he was charged this morning and is expected to appear in the Sigatoka Magistrates court later today.
Officers from the Drug Unit raided the house of the 32 year old man in Coral Coast yesterday morning and confiscated dried leaves and uprooted about 218 matured marijuana plants.
