A 7 bedroom house in Lokia Sigatoka was razed to fire early this morning.

Police have confirmed the house belonged to a farmer who also had kept large amount of cash inside his house that were of his weekly vegetables sales.

It is understood the fire started at 1.30 in the morning and members of the family said it started from the living room.

Police said with the cash takings inside the house, they believe estimated cost of damage is around $90,000.

Family members escaped injuries.
