A farm in Navosa Sigatoka was raided by a team of police officers yesterday and 200 plants believed to be marijuana were uprooted.

The Assistant Police PRO, Corporal Josaia Weicavu said the station officer Keiyasi informed the Navosa Police operations Team after being tipped-off and discovered plants ranging from 50cm to 1.20metres in a farm in the interior of Navosa after the raid.

The farm owner has been questioned and released and police are waiting for the government analysis report before laying any charges.
