Vodafone Fiji soccer coach, Frank Farina said he cannot wait to play New Zealand in the Oceania Nations Cup.
Farina said they had to play the All Whites at some stage of the tournament and if they want to be successful, they will have to beat New Zealand at some stage.
Meanwhile, Farina said it’s fantastic to see what Roy Krishna has brought into the training sessions.
Krishna exploded onto the A‑League stage last year, scoring 10 goals and finding the net in four consecutive games to equal a club record.
Fiji will play New Zealand at 2pm next Saturday in its first group match of the Oceania Nations Cup.
Fiji will also play Vanuatu and Solomon Islands in its other group matches.
The winner of the competition will qualify for the FIFA Confederation Cup while the top six finishing teams will get a place to play in the stage three qualification of the FIFA World Cup.
