Fiji Rugby Union HPU General Manager Mike Ryan said that rugby fans around the country should not be disappointed by the outcome of the Japan 7s yesterday and should continue to support the team.
Fijivillage raised the question on some of the performance of the players and Ryan said this is more of a coaching issue as they are still trying to put together a core squad for the World Cup and the Rio Olympics.
Ryan added what happened in Japan is that the strength of the teams in the IRB World Sevens Series is across the board as such that any team can beat any other team.
Meanwhile, Fiji has been pooled with Australia, Argentina and Spain in the Glassgow 7s in Scotland which will be held on the 4th and 5th of May.
