The Fiji Rugby Union will again bring back the famous local provincial 7's series which will now be known as the Fiji TV 7's series.
Fiji Television today announced the 5 year sponsorship of the series which will feature tournament in Nausori, Lautoka, Suva, Sigatoka and Labasa.
FRU Chief Executive, Keni Dakuidreti said Fiji TV has come on board at a critical time and this allows players to play in a competition where the selectors can see the best players before the Fiji 7's team depart to each of the 4 official IRB legs of the series.
The first Fiji TV 7's series will be held on the 27th of this month at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori where a total 0f 32 provincial team will take part in the one day tournament.
Also a total prize-money of $15,000 dollars will be at stake in each tournament.
