A businessman and his family were left traumatized after six masked men threatened and robbed the family of $1,700 cash and $100,000 worth of jewelries last night.
Police Spokesperson Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed to Fijivillage that the robbery took place in field 40 Lautoka.
Sokomuri said the 28 year old businessman was sleeping with his family when six masked man forcefully entered the house and assaulted the businessman, robbed the place and fled in the family vehicle.
The businessman received some injuries and is currently admitted at the Lautoka Hospital.
Police investigations continue.
