The post mortem of the four victims that died in a horrific road accident in Velovelo, Lautoka yesterday afternoon will be conducted this morning.

The four died instantly when the vehicle they were travelling in collided head on with a bus.

Police have confirmed the driver of the van was overtaking and in the process he lost control and smashed into the oncoming bus.

The four who were killed are 45 year old Lautoka market vendor Hafizu Dean, his 38 year old wife Ainun and his 19 and 21 year old daughters, Razia and Fairun.

The family was returning home from shopping when the accident occured.

They are survived by their twin 13 year old daughters and 22 year old son.

Meanwhile, Deputy Director Operations SP Erami Raibe is urging members of the public to be careful on our roads especially during this wet weather.
