Four people are homeless after their two bedroom corrugated iron and wooden petitioned house caught fire at around 9 this morning in Waila 3B, Davuilevu Housing.
The Nausori Fire Station confirmed that they received a call at around 8.57 this morning and by the time the fire fighters arrived at the scene the house was already engulfed in flames.
A fire officer confirms it took 20 minutes for the fire fighters to contain the fire.
It is believed that four people were in the house including a child a lady sustained some injuries while trying to put out the fire.
Fire fighters are still at the scene trying to determine the cause of fire.
