More than three families of Lakena Nausori have been shifted to safer homes in the area as a precaution after a landslide destroyed neighboring homes yesterday afternoon.
Three houses went down the hill at Lakena Number one Hill as a result of landslide.
Following this incident a team of police officers yesterday advised families close to the landslide to vacate their homes with their belongings.
No one was hurt in the incident, and the three families who lost their homes are now sheltering at their neighbors homes.
Other families have also been warned to vacate their homes.
