The Naidu family of Saweni Lautoka is still trying to come to terms with the news that their beloved family member, Krishna Swamy Naidu will never return home.

Naidu who is the Managing Director of Capture Fiji was reported missing with Ella Joan Blakelock on 21st June and were last seen leaving Lautoka on the night of 19th June. 

Their bodies were recovered from Naidu's vehicle yesterday in a river between Nasasa and Vakabalea in Navua.

Naidu's younger brother, Kailash Murti Naidu said his brothers children who are nine and three years old have not been told about the incident.


Naidu's workmate, Ella Joan Blakelock who has been described as a very strong person started work at Capture Fiji last year and used to design the prints on the billboards for the company.

Her sister, Caroline Taoi said she last saw Blakelock at their Delainavesi home on June 13th and after few days she went missing.


Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro said the car is believed to have gone off the road, bumped the edge of the bridge before plunging into the river. 

The vehicle sustained extensive damage to the front portion with the windscreen shattered. 

Naisoro said investigations are now exploring all avenues as to determine the timeline of events that led up to the accident.
