Families and friends around the country today flocked to the beach to enjoy the beautiful sunshine.
Fijivillage spoke to a few of the families along the Suva Foreshore, who were lying down near the beach and some were out there swimming.
Some shops were opened today including MHCC as people continue to shop for the New Year's Day.
