Families at the evacuation centers have told our reporters on the ground that they have been directed to move out of the evacuation centers at schools in Nadi and they have nowhere to go as their homes were destroyed by the flash floods.
Meanwhile, the District Officer of Sigatoka, Kaliova Bainivalu said with the six remaining evacuation centres around the Nadroga and Navosa areas should be vacated today or by tomorrow.
Bainivalu said the schools need to be cleaned and ready for next Tuesday when classes begin.
