The Land Transport Authority said families of the driver and passengers who died in a tragic accident in Savutalele, Tacirua on Monday afternoon have a right to claim compensation.
LTA's Media Liaison Officer Eroni Volavola said families have an option if they want to claim compensation from the LTA or the insurance companies.
However, the LTA maintained the safety of the passengers in the mini bus were the responsibility of the mini bus driver.
Meanwhile, a woman who was a passenger in the Mini bus is still admitted in critical condition at the CWM Hospital. The four died at the scene of the accident after a PWD truck collided head on with the mini bus.
