Get the right devices before using the false start rule for the Coca Cola Games next weekend.
That is the message from Fiji Athletics sprint coach Bola Tafou as the Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association will use the false start rule for the first time which means an athlete will not be given a second chance if he or she jumps the gun.
Tafou said it is good to use this international standard rule for the Coca Cola Games but the organisers should have the right technology when the games start next Friday.
Meanwhile Coca Cola Games Chief Organiser Vuli Waqa is firm that they will use the false start rule with start re callers present to monitor each athlete as they come out of the blocks.
The Coca Cola Games starts at the TFL Stadium next Friday.
