Two fake notes were discovered in two separate incidents in Rakiraki on Monday.
Police said a Colonial bank teller found a fake $50 note while a Bank of Baroda teller found a fake $10 note while sorting notes.
Police are urging people in Rakiraki to be more vigilant while dealing with cash as they can also come across fake notes.
Meanwhile, police are investigating a case of fire that partially destroyed a temple in Buabua, Lautoka.
The fire started at about 11pm Monday and people in the settlement managed to put out the fire.
The cause of fire is unknown at this stage.
