Police are seriously concerned about the discovery of fake notes in various parts of the country.
In the latest incident, two $50 fake notes were discovered in separate incidents yesterday in Rakiraki and Suva.
Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said with people going out shopping today, their message for them is to be vigilant while dealing with cash.
According to Sokomuri, police have discovered more than 10 fake $20, $50 and $100 bills which have the same serial numbers.
