Police are calling on business people to be more vigilant after three fake US 100 notes were discovered in Suva yesterday.

Assistant Spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri has confirmed that a fake $100 US note was discovered by a staff of Holiday Inn Suva when she was counting the money.

In another incident two US $100 fake notes were discovered by a teller at Westpac Cumming Street while she was counting the money.

Police suspect some foreign nationals are behind these fake notes and are calling on members of the public to be vigilant while handling cash.
