The Fiji Womens Rights Movement is standing by the nurses and supporting them in their decision to go on strike saying that the plight of nurses has fallen on deaf ears over the years.
Speaking to Village news, FWRM's Executive Director, Virisila Buadromo said the nurses are doing the right thing in walking off their jobs, saying they only support the cause of the strike but not the Association's attempt to cripple the Health System.
The Fiji Womens Rights Movement has also called on the military and the Police to allow the peaceful protest without any harassment saying the strike has been declared legal.
