The Fiji Women's Crisis Centre today signed a funding agreement worth 5.3 million Australian dollars, with the Australian Government to help with their work for the next six years.
Australian High Commissioner to Fiji, James Batley said these funds will enable the Fiji Women's Crisis Centre to provide counseling, legal advice, advocacy, training, education, awareness and other support services for women survivors of violence.
Fiji Women's Crisis Centre Co-ordinator, Shammema Ali said they are grateful for the funding which will help them in the long run.
