The Fiji Visitors Bureau is embarking on an aggressive marketing campaign with positive indications already within the tourism industry in terms of visitor arrivals for this year.

Speaking to Village News FVB Chairman Patrick Wong said the political climate in the country is no longer an issue and the challenge now is trying to compete with other markets to bring back the visitor numbers of the past.

He said there were positive signs already for January and adds that certain packages are being designed to attract the high spenders into the country.
