The Fiji Visitors Bureau is trying its best to increase hotel occupancy rates as tourists numbers are slightly increasing in the country.
Chairman Patrick Wong said many tourists do not occupy hotel rooms and they need more foreign exchange to improve the industry.
He believes the industry will further improve this year.
