The Fiji Taxi Union will be having a meeting this morning where they will request the Land Transport Authority to decrease the drop distance from 200 meters to 100meters.
General Secretary Rishi Ram said at their Annual General Meeting in Nadi this morning, a motion will be put to their members as they will also discuss matters affecting them at national level.
Ram added that the mandate has to come from their members in the Western Division.
Ram said the LTA and Police will also be present at the meeting.
