The Fiji Taxi Union will present a proposal to the Minister of Transport this week, seeking an increase in flagfall.
This is revealed by the General Secretary Rishi Ram after their special general meeting at Nadi this afternoon.
Ram said its members want a 50 cents increase in the flagfall approved as early as July.
The current flagfall sits at $1.50 from 6am - 9pm and after hours the flag fall starts at $2.00.
