The Fiji Taxi Union will meet with the Second Hand car Dealers and other stakeholders of the Transport Industry to discuss next year's budget and announcements in relation to the transport sector.
Union General Secretary Rishi Ram said the announcement that all secondhand cars that are 4 years old are to be banned in Fiji will have an adverse effect on them.
The Interim Finance Minister Mahendra Chaudhry announced in the 2008 National Budget last Friday that all secondhand cars that are four years old and more will not be allowed into the country.
