The Fiji Taxi Union is calling on the government to take tough measures to see that illegal operators do not take over legally operated taxi business.
Union Secretary Rishi Ram said that there are many illegal taxis and mini vans operating on Fiji roads giving a difficult time to the union members who have to work harder now.
Meanwhile the Fiji Taxi Union will start their Annual General Meeting, in the next hour where issues relating to problems faced by the Union members will be addressed.
