The Fiji Taxi Union has welcomed the huge decrease in prices of fuel however they are not supportive of the demand to decrease taxi fares to give more relief to consumers.
General Secretary Rishi Ram believes taxi fare is still low compared to other costs which increased in the past few years.
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) and Fiji Bus Operators Association are expected to comment in the next hour.
